Next year Nike will also release more classics that haven’t been seen in a while; Nike Air Wildwood, Nike Air Bound 2, Nike Air Burst and the hiking favorite “Nike Air Terra Humara”. Nike Blazer Hi “Denim”

Tuesday, December 25th, 2007 | Posted in Nike Blazer, Sneaker News, Sneakers

Nike Blazer Hi Denim

Back in July we reported on this pair of Nike Blazer Hi “Denim”. Now 5 months later we have more info:

The Nike Blazer is a true classic from Nike’s early basketball sneaker line. They first hit the scene in the early 70’s and the Nike Blazer has gone through some major surgery over the years. We’ve watched the Nike Blazer go from a basic all white leather sneaker with a different color swoosh to getting various unique colorways and material treatment. With that said the Nike Blazer can be designed in many ways. Soon Nike will release yet another Nike Blazer Hi “Denim”, but this time the denim pattern will stay the same. Unlike the last Nike Blazer Hi “Denim” which were both co.jp releases, a women’s and mens version. Some of you may not remember them or have never seen them, but they do exist. Honestly the women’s version is the best. Several years later Nike will release another denim Blazer. The uppers are completely covered in blue jean denim along with a black swoosh and the lace eyelets give off a blue jean vibe. This upcoming Nike Blazer Hi “Denim” is set to release in Fall 2008.

Nike Air Max 90 Vivid Blue

We reported that Nike would release this pair of Nike Air Max 90’s in Spring 2008. It’s not quite 2008 and they have already released at some stores. Even though the colors are very similar this is not Laser Blue, it’s Vivid Blue. The colorway is white, black, and vivid blue. Unlike most 2007 Nike Air Max 90’s this pair comes equipped with a highly respected mesh toe box. The Nike Air Max 90 “Vivid Blue” will arrive at stores over the next few weeks, and may be available at some stores already. As odd as this may sound, retail is $92.

They also come with a extra set of Vivid Blue laces.

Nike Dunk Hi “Be True To Your School”

Friday, December 21st, 2007 | Posted in Nike Dunk, Sneaker News, Sneakers

Nike Dunk Hi Be True to your School

As most of you might already know, Nike will start celebrating the anniversary of the Nike Dunk next year. The first installment of the celebrations will enter stores in January 2008 with the Vintage Dunk series.

The impact it had on the sporting world and culture itself were unprecedented. When NCAA teams such as St. John’s, NC State, Michigan, Kentucky, UNLV, Syracuse, Arizona and Iowa first laced up their Dunks, a sense of authenticity and school pride among athletic performance were pinnacles. Soon after, skaters would adopt the Dunk for its good performance. The ability to transcend different cultures from the anti-establishment to team sports, was a testament to the Dunk’s wide appeal.

23 years after its inception, it’s undeniable the myriad of colors the Dunk has experienced. To keep things simple, Nike brought back a series of classic and original colors based inspiration from a Be True To Your School poster. They re-mastered the eight original Dunk colorways and incorporated a vintage treatment such as broken-in leather, ollie scars, weathered foam and stained laces. Other products will also be releasing as part of the collegiate theme with colorways from different NCAA entities. Available starting January at Tier 0 Accounts worldwide.

It’s an exciting start into the new year, especially for all Nike Dunk fans out there.

Nike Air Force 1 “Red Croc”

Friday, December 21st, 2007 | Posted in Air Force 1, Sneaker News, Sneakers

Nike Air Force 1 Red Croc

The designers for this particular Nike Air Force 1 most likely busted their balls and after months of deliberation finally decided on this particular colorway of red/red/red. The upper is a combination of patent leather and croc leather. Ever since the release of an all red Emerica Reynolds 1 back in 2002 or so, we’ve had a great fixation for all red shoes but maybe even these are too red.
