We can never get mad when we see OG colors on classic kicks. JD Sports gets their own exclusives and rather than make the shoe look like a graffiti project gone awry, they keep it original. This time with the Nike Air Max 90 in the White/Lime-Grey Colorway.

Nike’s OG AM90 release continues, so what color will they retro next? Only time will tell. Heads up to all the Euro heads and Nike Air Max fans out there. Like all Nike Runners in Europe, these will not sit in stores long so make your move now, or pay top dollar later.

Nike Dunk Hi “UNLV BTTYS Dunks ‘99″

Saturday, March 15th, 2008 | Posted in Nike Dunk, Sneaker News, Sneakers

Nike Dunk Hi UNLV BTTYS Dunks ‘99

This pair came back in 1999 very close to the originals, but updated with more padding around the ankles and a softer sock liner. In 2005, Nike SB made their go with the BTTYS Dunks and added Zoom Air cushioning and even more padding to the ankle and tongue; however, for true Nike Dunk enthusiasts, suede color panels, a mesh toe, and oval laces was anything but “Being True.”

The most recent round of Be True Dunks are the closest to the originals from ‘85, but the worn look has been hard for many to stomach.

The Nike Dunk was good to the Runnin’ Rebels of UNLV for the 1985-86 season as they won both regular season and tournament titles in the Big West Conference before making it to the Sweet 16.

Tune in next week for something even more special - especially if you are a Dunk fan.

Nike Dunk “St. Pauli Pack”

Friday, March 14th, 2008 | Posted in Nike Dunk, Sneaker News, Sneakers

Nike Dunk St. Pauli Pack

As we already mentioned before, here is something for all the soccer fans among you. Nike got together with German soccer club FC St. Pauli from Hamburg. The club has somewhat of a special standing in German soccer, not necessarily because of its performance, but because of its rebel character. That is also clearly translated into the Dunk Pack that they have worked with Nike on.

The pack consists of a Nike Dunk Hi and Nike Dunk Low. The Nike Dunk Hi comes in black the Nike Dunk Low in white, both featuring nice details, including prints and tags. Also the materials have been nicely chosen, including premium leathers, suede and oestrich on the swoosh. The Nike Dunk Low also comes with some embossed graphics, that stay very subtle on the shoe. Both sneakers come with nice woven laces, mixing the colors that are also represented on the sneakers.

The Nike x FC St. Pauli Dunk Pack will be hitting stores mid May. The white one will be released exclusively in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. The Nike Dunk Hi will also be coming to other European countries. Thus the Nike Dunk Low is limited to 250 pairs and the Nike Dunk Hi to 500.

Definitely an exciting release, with a story and in terms of design they also turned out very solid.
