Earlier in the week we preview the next collaboration project between Nike and Bowery’s Dave’s Quality Meat. Only closeup shots were available of the shoes, this morning new full shots of the shoes are now available. Using the Nike Safari pattern, two colors have been created. The black version features an all black safari upper, sky blue swoosh and a fuschia back tab and lining. The light lavender safari pair features a while swoosh, black details and a yellow backtab. There is also a third pair but we shall wait to see on those. DQM also noted that Jay Z was spotted with a pair on.

Nike Air Structure Black/Old Royal

We previewed these Nike Air Structure´s in Black and Old Royal earlier this month, but only a scan was available. Now, we can take a better look into their design and materials. The shoes actually feature a nice ripstop cotton toebox; definitely a unique material by any means. The Nike Air unit is as always visible in the heel, accenting the grey, white, and royal blue midsole. These Nike Air Structure´s are definitely some of the nicest releases from Nike this year, with a simple, not-too-flashy look about them. Look for them this Fall 2008 at select Nike retailers.

Nike Air Jordan Force V (5) Premier “Grey Nurse”

Nike Air Jordan Force V (5) Premier Grey Nurse

Air Jordan will soon be releasing a new Nike Air Jordan Force V at Air Jordan Flight Club - the Grey Nurse. These Nike Air Jordan Force Fusion V’s are loosely modeled on the Hyperion Spitfire MK VIII 253 Grey Nurse, which was Tinker Hatfield’s direct inspiration for the original Nike Air Jordan V’s. The markings on the heel and toe are taken directly from the decorations on the plane itself, as is the overall grey and black colorway. For those who have criticized the Force Fusion line of shoes in the past, these kicks are completely true to the history of the Nike Air Jordan V, as they use Hatfield’s primary inspiration as the primary motif of the design! Look for the drop at Air Jordan Flight Club on May 2nd.

Nike Air Jordan 1 “Black/White” Father’s Day

Thursday, April 24th, 2008 | Posted in Air Jordan, Release Dates, Sneaker News, Sneakers

Nike Air Jordan 1 Black/White Father’s Day

Just in time for Fathers’ Day, Nike is releasing a pair of Nike Air Jordan 1’s with a very paternal tweed-suit pattern dominating the shoe. In the same manner that the Military Pack paid tribute to Michael Jordan’s brother serving in the military, this pack pays homage to his father, who as many know was a huge influence in Michael Jordan’s life, with his death serving as a major catalyst for his initial retirement from basketball. The swoosh on these shoes is made of a clear material, with the word “POPS” spelled out in the outline of a lunchpail on the back of the shoe. If you have a father who happens to be a shoehead, these might be just the shoes to buy him! These Jordans will be available at select Nike retailers on June 6th.

Nike Air Max 90 “Euro Cup” Quickstrike

Nike Air Max 90 Euro Cup Quickstrike

Nike has called upon the Dunk to go to work leading up to the Euro Cup in colorways of many of the nations competing in the upcoming tournament. The Dunk is a moderately popular silhouette in Europe, but doesn’t compare to the Nike Air Max series. Throughout Europe models such as the Nike Air Classic BW, Nike Air Max 95, Nike Air Max 97, Nike Air Max Plus can be seen on the feet of many Euro heads, but one that has been a major hit both there and Stateside is the Nike Air Max 90.

Nike keeps it simple with solid colored uppers minus the silver mudguard on the side for both pairs. Much to liking of 90 heads, the toe boxes are made of mesh, the midsoles are not white, and hits of color make their way onto the tongue logo and bits of splatter on the midsole. According to Sneaker News, both of these will pop up in May at quickstrike doors.

Nike Air Trainer TW II SB Haze Tweed

After Nike debuted the Air Trainer TW II SB through a succesful collaboration with Supreme, they have continued to keep the shoe in their line. Now without the limited quantities and “Supreme” cosign the shoe is still able to stand on it’s own as it begins to develop an identity for itself within the SB lineup of models. This is the latest colorway of the shoe featuring Haze, Tweed, and even a little bit of University (Tar Heel) Blue. These Nike SB’s are also scheduled to hit Nike SB accounts in May, so be on the look out next month.
