Nike Dunk SB Concepts “Lobster” Release

Nike Dunk SB Concepts Lobster Release

Cambridge’s Concepts released their first collaboration with Nike SB this morning to a long line and large crowd waiting for the Nike Dunk SB Concepts “Lobster”. Only 200 pairs were on hand for the release, but the first 50 people received a commemorative wooden crate for their kicks made to resemble a lobster trap.

The Nike Dunk SB Concepts “Lobster” theme was carried beyond imagination with a lobster like exterior made to resemble its armor like exoskeleton, to the lobster bib sock liner, and how could one miss the rubber band across the toes. Limited T-shirts and accessories were also cooked up to compliment the release.

Not surprisingly a few pairs of the Concepts Lobster Dunks have made their way to eBay where they are catching (no pun) some pretty high prices due to the demand. Great concept and great execution. All brands or shops doing collabs need to take notice.

Wednesday, May 28th, 2008 | Posted in Nike Dunk, Nike SB, Sneaker News, Sneakers

Nike Dunk Low SB Premium New Castle Brown Ale

Here is a detailed look at the Nike Dunk Low SB Premium “New Castle Brown Ale”! It all started with the release of the Nike Dunk Low Pro SB - Heineken (classic green / black / white / red) back in June 2003, now Nike has decided to release yet another beer inspired Dunk. The Nike Dunk Low SB Premium “New Castle Brown Ale” is expected to release in Nike skateboarding retailers this week. They go for a ticket price of $90 and have already hit eBay. Place5ive in Washington D.C. will have a special release for this sneaker. They will be giving the first six customers in line with ID a free six pack of beer. Look for them sometime this week.

Newcastle is thought to be the first place in Britain to brew beer. Legends aside, it is known that Newcastle’s first commercial brewery, John Barras & Company of Gateshead, was established here in 1770. Then, in 1890, after the Gateshead Brewery was bought by the North Eastern Railway Company, John Barras & Company purchased the Tyne Brewery and linked up with several small breweries in North Shields, Gateshead and Sunderland to form The Newcastle Breweries Ltd.
