Nike recently released a Nike Blazer Hi “Black/Light Brown” as part of their Black kix push. The Nike Blazer Hi “Black/Light Brown” features a Black Leather upper sitting on a Black sole. A Light Brown Swoosh and heel tab break up the Black upper.

Though the Beijing Summer 2008 Olympics are over, the memory of the games lives on and so do the sneakers dedicated to them. Following up on the Nike Sportswear Dunk Hi “Blue Octagon” that released before the the lighting of the torch, Nike Sportswear recently released the Nike Sportswear Dunk Hi “Black Octagon”. Very reminiscent of the the Nike Dunk Hi “Black Destroyers” that released a while back, the Nike Sportswear Dunk Hi “Black Octagon” features a Black Nubuck upper, an embossed leather Octagon pattern in the mid panel, and a White midsole/sole.

Pictured here is a new sample pair of Nike Delta Force Low, which may possibly release in the future. This pair is an interesting colorway, with silver and neo green patent accents. The rest of the sneaker is white leather with the exception of the lace hole tabs in a yellow colorway. The sneaker is complemented with neon green laces. Further information about when or if these sneakers will release has yet to be provided but looks to be a Spring 09 sample.

The Nike Air Jordan 3 Fusion family is still giving birth to new colorways. Here is a colorway that we have never seen until now. The colorway features reed, dark oak, white, and medium brown. This colorway is definitely in a league of it’s own when compared to the previous Nike Air Jordan Fusion 3 colorways.

The Nike Air Jordan 3 Fusion “Reed” is set to release on 9/13 alingside the Nike Air Jordan Retro 1 “Olympic” and the Nike Jordan Six Rings “Olympic” .

Tentatively dubbed the Nike Dunk Hi “Back to School”, here is a preview at an upcoming release from Nike. In an almost tie-dye like fashion, the upper is marked by series of crayon doodles with yellow accents seen for the laces, swoosh and sole. Stay tuned for more details and what may perhaps be another pack of school-inspired sneakers.

The Nike Air Yeezy has been an enigma of sorts ever since they were first spotted on Kanye’s feet. So much speculation has been going on as to what they are exactly, and if they will ever release to the public. What we do know is that they were created by Nike and Kanye West, and will release to the general public soon. A recent statement from Kanye West gives use a bit more insight as to the shoe’s release:

Don’t just be a fashion connoisseur, be a connoisseur of everything in life. Also, a big, huge shout to Kanye for changing my life. That’s all…. Oh yeah and the Air Yeezys and Pastelle coming real soon. Like real soon before you know it soon. via Kanye West

We’re still pretty much left out of the loop but we guess it’s something. So we can draw the conclusion that the Nike Air Yeezy should be hitting retailers very soon!

With the 2008 Beijing Olympics coming to a close this weekend, Nike is closing things out with a commemerative pair of Nike Air Force 1´s. Fashioned in bright metallic gold, the upper of the sneaker is adorned with a Chinese motif. The package also features special packaging in the form of a black 08/08/08 box. Available starting August 25th.

Last night Nike hosted a grand opening event for the Nike Sportswear Flagship Store located at 21 Mercer St in New York City. Spike Lee and Roger Federer unveiled the space and opened the doors to the select list of attendees. Inside the space we got to see Nike Sportswear’s lineup of footwear and apparel as well as interior fixture telling the story of Nike’s influence on athletics and sport culture.

Outside the space had a baseball stadium theme complete with hot dogs, popcorn, stadium seating, and mascots in the block of city streets closed off for the evening. Take a virtual tour of the new Nike Sportswear store after the jump as well as get a look at what products you can find in store.
