Fabrics are definitely making a statement on Nike products recently including this upcoming Nike Air Max 1. The upper of the sneaker feature several different swatches of plaid, which is pretty trendy in fashion and streetwear alike. The mudguard and the swoosh gets a treatment of black leather and the lining and outsole are also colored in black. The midsole is a bright white against the darker upper and bottom. Nike Air Tech Challenge Hybrid White/Black

Taking elements from all three series of the Nike Air Tech Challenge, Nike introduces the Nike Air Tech Challenge Hybrid. Made popular by tennis legend Andre Agassi in the ’90s, the kicks feature Nike’s trademark air technology alongside a nostalgic old school colorway reminiscent of the fourth series Nike Air Tech Challenge model. With the new year only a few months away, Nike gives us a preview of their 2009 LE releases. Taking design features from its ’90s Nike Air Huarache model, the company has produced basketball, baseball and even training kicks with that very same technology due to its stability and comfortability. They have been updated with contemporary colorways, yet they still look as though they could have been found under a pile of dust in the storeroom at your local sneaker distributor. Here we see three pair, two in mostly white and another with grey. One of the whites and the grey pair have colourful slashes on the side panel, and they grey pair has a carbon fiber-esque toe cap.

Nike’s latest rendition of the Nike Blazer is seen here as the basketball icon takes shape under a strong woodgrain influence. The shoe features a black upper with subtle tonal woodgrain hints on the heel and toebox. The most visible instance of woodgrain use is evidenced on the midsole while a small highlighting orange stitch is seen along the side. Aside from the Nike Blazer Hi Premium which is available now, an Nike Air Force II is also set to release.

Both versions of these shoes include exciting color schemes. The first shoe uses shiny blue, along with jet black and bright yellow accents. The other scheme features black and a bright turquoise. Nike SB recently released several exclusive Dunks including the Boba Fett and Gold Rail. We previously blogged about the Gold Rail Dunk which comes in varsity blue with brown sole, honoring the famous skate spot at Flinders Street Station. Now we get a look at the upcoming Nike Dunk SB Hi “Boba Fett” which comes in all black with gray and yellow accents and a maroon red Swoosh logo. In the sneaker community, we have seen the decline in the popularity of Nike SB Dunks in the past year but with these upcoming releases on the horizon, Nike SB might have just revived the line.
