Nike Air Tech Challenge Hybrid “White/Volt-Hot Lava-Black”

Nike Air Tech Challenge Hybrid White/Volt-Hot Lava-Black

If you are totally sick of Nike hybrid models by now, you may want to look away, but don’t be so quick to dismiss these until you take a closer look. Tennis great, Andre Agassi’s shoe, the Nike Air Tech Challenge was one of Nike’s hottest models back in the late 80’s and early 90’s and was even embraced by those with no appreciation whatsoever for tennis. There were four Nike Air Tech Challenge models released between 1989 and 1992 and now the most recognizable attributes of each have all been combined into one shoe that pays homage to the entire line (the Nike Air Tech Challenge Hybrid features design elements from the Air Tech Challenge 1, Air Tech Challenge II, Air Tech Challenge III, Air Tech Challenge IV, and the Nike Air Flare).

The Nike Air Tech Challenge Hybrid “White/Volt-Hot Lava-Black” is available now at several Nike accounts.

Nike Air Max 1 ND “Moon Landing 40th Anniversary”

Friday, March 20th, 2009 | Posted in Air Max 1, Sneaker News, Sneakers

Nike Air Max 1 ND Moon Landing 40th Anniversary

Nike often refers to pop culture in its limited edition releases, but this one honours the 40th anniversary of one of the most inspirational achievements in the entire history of mankind. Whether they’re a ’small step for mankind’ is more dependent upon your own stride, but there’s no question that this new pair of Nike Air Max 1´s does a nifty job of achieving its lunar landing theme. The upper is comprised of mostly black leather with touches of quilted black nylon and metallic silver accents. A strip of the upper directly above the midsole is embossed with a crater-like pattern and a moon boot-evoking silver midsole completes the vibe. While we are uncertain as to the exact date, the moon landing was July 21, 1969, we can expect them during April 2009. Stay tuned to NewKicksOnTheBlog for updates.

Nike Air Jordan V (5) 3M Raging Bull DMP 2 Package

Just like the Oscar-winning movie from which it takes its subtitle, the Nike Air Jordan Defining Moments Package II (DMP 2) finds it’s main character adding weight and packing a mighty wallop. We have already seen the sick red suede Nike Air Jordan V (5) a few times, and now the questions of whether the other pair will be black or grey, 3M-reflective or not can be settled once and for all. For the record, they are black and equipped with 3M, as well as the same icey outsole and red-tipped sharksteeth found on the red joints. Take a look at detailed pics after you clicked the link depicting the second half (including 3M in effect) of one of the finest packs we have seen, maybe ever. If you just can’t wait, VMV Inc has a few in sample sizes US 8.5 and US 9.
