Nike Air Jordan Flight 45 “Black/Varsity Red-Stealth” Sample

Nike Air Jordan Flight 45 Black/Varsity Red-Stealth Sample

Fresh off two new colourways, here is another Nike Air Jordan Flight 45. This pair was revealed early this month and we saw two sets of pictures during the first week. With a black design featuring red and cement grey accents, including the iconic elephant print, this pair is a perfect fit for the classic Chicago palette. Each of the other pairs we have seen had irregular perforations, and though the heel tab’s braille was clear on the red and white pair, we hadn’t put the two together until seeing this sample pair with deeper perfs. Anyone who knows American Sign Language should let us know what the side panels and toe say, and if the message is clear, you can cop a pair of these now on eBay.

Nike Air Jordan Force IV (AJF 4) Black Cement Detailed Photos

Now that we know the Nike Air Jordan Force IV (AJF 4) is set to drop with the original mesh side panels in tact, let’s take a closer look. Though the mesh makes these much more like the original Nike Air Jordan IV, these still feature enough differences to take note. Starting with the sole, which features a thick red stitch, these also borrow the Nike Air Force 1’s perforated toe and also include the AJF-signature lacelock. Another noteable difference between the AJF4 and AJIV is the suede tongue (the OG IVs had a mesh tongue). Any way you slice it, these are sure to be a coveted upon their September release and we’ll bring you many more pictures, including new colourways, here on NewKicksOnTheBlog.

Nike Air Jordan “Evolution Video”

Thursday, May 21st, 2009 | Posted in Air Jordan, Sneaker Culture

Some of you may have already seen this video as part of the Ultimate Jordan DVD, but for those who haven’t had the pleasure, here you go. This short video documents the evolution of the Air Jordan all the way from the beginnings at Nike to the birth of the Jordan Brand. Included are clips of interviews, ad campaigns, game highlights and behind the scenes looks at some of the photo/video shoots and design meetings that helped to make these kicks what they are today. With a little help from Mars Blackmon, Bugs Bunny and others, this brief retrospective paints a nice picture of how the Air Jordan mystique came to be. For the younger generation of sneakerheads who have only known most of the Air Jordan sneakers as Retro releases, this is a great crash course in the road to greatness followed by Michael and his revered arsenal of kicks, as well as a highlight reel of one of the most brilliantly marketed brands in history.

Nike Blazer High GS Clear Lenticular - Hologram

The Nike Blazer has enjoyed a huge resurgence in the last year or so and with so many fresh releases dropping left and right, it’s about time the youngsters got another GS colorway all to themselves. This latest Nike Blazer High features a very unique look. The shoe sports a solid white upper that is covered by a simple perforation pattern and the Swoosh and side mudguard are constructed from an iridescent lenticular material. The color scheme is then rounded out by an orange lining and tongue piping with additional orange branding on the upper heel. These have already hit select Nike retailers, so it might be time to reward the kids with a nice end of school present.

Nike Air Classic BW Black/Sport Red-Grey

While it may not receive the fanfare enjoyed by some other classic Nike Air Max models, the Nike Air Classic BW has been quietly making a comeback this year in both new and OG colorways. You already noticed the new version that used a black/white/red color scheme and now we have a look at a similar version that swaps out the white for grey to sport a slightly darker look. The shoe features a predominantly Black synthetic upper with sections of ballistic mesh and a reflective 3M strip running through the design. Additional Grey and Sport Red accents are scattered throughout, creating some bold contrast against the dark base. This Nike Air Classic BW is available now as a JDsports exclusive, so if you’re feeling these, be aware that that’s the only place you will find them.
