The number of Halloween-themed footwear releases is massive this season. Nike alone has set the holiday-inspired bar higher than ever with releases ranging from the new Day of the Dead Quickstrikes Pack to the Blood Splatter SB Blazer High. We already saw one ‘creepy’ Nike Dunk SB Low, and here is another. It is got the orange and black look down, plus the hemp underlay adds a nice rustic look for autumn. Metallic silver and hyperblue. Quite the eye-catching combination of colors, especially when applied over a white-soled Nike Air Force 1 High. Before you get too excited, these are a women’s release, but as we have mentioned before – depending on your foot size – there is a good chance you can make these work.

A new colorway of yet another classic Nike Retro Running sneaker, the Nike Air Classic BW, has been released and this time it’s Black, White, and Neon Orange. This colorway of the Nike Air Classic BW is somewhat reminiscent of the original Persian Violet colorway, however it still features enough differences to give it a fresh new look. The shoe consists of a mostly Black mesh and leather upper with other parts of the shoe being filled in with White and of course Neon Orange on the Swoosh and lining to give it a pop. Taking cues from the original Gino Iannucci series, Nike SB offers a new Nike Dunk SB Low pairing Obsidian/Grey suede with Black perforated Leather and mesh. A White midsole and detailing tie the design together, wrapped as a present, and ready to be purchased by the SB faithful, although there’s still no indicator that the stuffed tongue from season’s past will ever reemerge. The quote-unquote Gucci look has been one of the most popular colourways for this season. This is the second Nike Dunk High Premium to feature the combination of forest green, deep red and black. DJ Clark Kent’s version repped the East coast for the Rivalry Pack but this joint is a little more specific. Released by Nike SB, these were originally designed by Girl Skateboards in 2005 to drop alongside the Nike Dunk SB Low “Tiffany” by Diamond Supply.

Apparently Crailtap wasn’t happy that Girl would give such a dope design to Nike, given their own Lakai footwear label. They axed the project, but now we are getting an updated version for late 2009. These come with ‘RESN’ on the tongue tag, a shout to Girl’s Sam Smyth, who used to spray that tag for the IBC crew all over the Bay Area.
