Nike Air Jordan VI South Beach Custom

When LeBron James made his decision to go to Miami, LeBron 8 designer Jason Petrie decided on a South Beach inspired colorway. One that was actually a sample colorway the Nike LeBron team had spun up before.

Since its release, the South Beach colorway has been incredibly popular and the market value of the LeBron 8 South Beach has seen a steady rise since its release. Check out this Nike Air Jordan VI “South Beach” Custom. It features the signature teal, pink, black, and white colorway infused into the astounding Nike Air Jordan VI silhouette, going with a full teal upper, a black/pink midsole, pink laces and a translucent outsole.

The Nike Air Jordan VI “Oreo” served as the base model for this custom design and clearly the idea translated onto the shoe seamlessly. Additional details included a paint-splattered wooden box and a hand-painted type-font on the heels reading El Cappy and Juan the Blogger. Let us know what you think of this custom pair of Jordans!

Nike SB Dunk High “Cheech and Chong”

Nike SB Dunk High Cheech and Chong

Since a sequel to last years Skunk Dunk was first confirmed by Todd Bratrud a few weeks back, we have seen a variety of teasers and imagined what the follow-up might look like.

While the joint theme seemed logical, at least from the limited sneak peeks that popped up, nobody could have seen this coming. While the majority of the upper sports a white canvas that we all know will give way to green suede underneath, the rear panel sports an unmistakable nod to Cheech and Chong and their stoner classic, Up in Smoke.

It appears that the heel of the left shoe will feature Tommy Chong’s red bandana, while the right shoe uses a material intended to mimic Cheech Marin’s ski cap. Too early to say from these pics, but it looks like possibly denim on the tongue and lining along with your choice of black or green laces. These are expected to release as a quickstrike on April 20th and are rumored to be limited to only around 1000 pairs, so stay tuned for more pics and info in the coming weeks.

Mens Trainers at JD Sports

Wednesday, March 16th, 2011 | Posted in Sneaker News, Sneakers

JD sports have been a widely respected brand in the UK but not that well known around Europe. The mens trainers at JD Sports didn’t really catch my attention until they released their amazing collection of Adidas Originals. Here’s a few of my favourites from the range –

Adidas Originals Nizza Hi

Adidas Originals Nizza Hi

These are made from jersey material and are great as a casual addition to any outfit.

The next pair are the Adidas Originals Training P.T. 70’s

Adidas Originals

They are exclusive to the JD Sports brand! These trainers have a great retro feel to them, and the bright colours will keep you going throughout summer.

These are by far my favourite, Adidas originals Nizza Lo

Adidas Originals

These are a great addition to the skate family, with a similar feel to the Nizza Hi’s but with a more understated style.

All in all, a great collection of men’s trainers available, have a look for yourself at their online store - http://www.jdsports.co.uk/men/mens-footwear/trainers/
