Considering that it’s not a Retro or a signature model, the warm reception that has been given to the Nike Air Jordan Flight 45 so far must be a very pleasant surprise for Jordan Brand. We have shown you numerous upcoming colorways of this shoe lately and most people seem to be feeling them. The latest version keeps it pretty simple, using a nice clean white upper with a black tongue, lining and outsole and a black midsole section that is covered with white speckles. While this colorway may be a little more conservative than some of the others, it still has a nice look to it and it seems to fit in nicely within the accepted Jordan aesthetic. Fresh off two new colourways, here is another Nike Air Jordan Flight 45. This pair was revealed early this month and we saw two sets of pictures during the first week. With a black design featuring red and cement grey accents, including the iconic elephant print, this pair is a perfect fit for the classic Chicago palette. Each of the other pairs we have seen had irregular perforations, and though the heel tab’s braille was clear on the red and white pair, we hadn’t put the two together until seeing this sample pair with deeper perfs. Anyone who knows American Sign Language should let us know what the side panels and toe say, and if the message is clear, you can cop a pair of these now on eBay.

There are a lot of sneakerheads out there who have been waiting a long time for the Nike Air Command Force to be released as a Retro model, and although that still hasn’t happened, another shoe has adopted its classic color scheme. The shoe once worn by David Robinson and Billy Hoyle has already been honored by the White Men Can’t Jump Hyperize model and now will see its influence felt on a sample version of the Nike Jordan Flight 45. The shoe features a white leather upper with a speckled Neon Yellow midsole, a wild tongue design and some minimal Black and Aqua accents. These are just a sample and no information on a retail release is currently available, but if you have to have them, you can start bidding on this pair right now on eBay.

Bringing our coverage of Nike’s initial launch trio of Nike Air Flight Lite Hi´s to a close, we take a look at the November Nike Air Flight Lite Hi “Black Purple”. The Nike Air Flight Lite Hi “Black Purple” is the only Flight Lite Hi of the trio to bring a soft Black Nubuck upper. The Purple hits come in at the tongue, ankle, heel, and sole. Like the other two Flight Lite Highs, the Nike Air Flight Lite Hi “Black Purple” also features a translucent outsole.

The Nike Air Flight Lite Hi “Black Purple” is set to release in November at select Nike retailers.

Nike returns with the OG Chicago Bulls - inspired colorway of the Nike Air Flight Lite Hi. Everybody paid attention to Jordan during the championship runs, but it was Scottie Pippen who quietly made a name for himself. In comparison, many people broke their necks to snag the new Jordan’s, while Pippen and Nike quietly introduced this quality basketball shoe. The Nike Air Flight Lite Hi, Scottie’s signature shoe during the first championship season (1990-91 NBA season), will be hitting stores in November. Not quite the Nike Air Pippen’s, these sneakers still possess much style and are very comfortable. Is this a classic for the closet or just Nike reaching back in the past for no reason? The newest Nike Air Flight 89 has just been previewed for us and the shoe is starting to resemble one of the more famous shoes in the history of Nike / Jordan, the Nike Air Jordan IV. The two shoes share the same outsole and midsole while the upper is a bit different for obvious reasons. This new Nike Air Flight 89 comes in what could be called as a Chicago Bulls colorway of Black, White, and Red and features a speckled midsole to give the shoe more of a Jordan feel to it. Additionally the certain parts on the shoe’s upper features a small embossed design that looks like a basketball net. No word on availability as of right now but stay tuned.

Another sneaker that Scottie Pippen wore in his career returning this fall is the Nike Air Flight Lite. Pippen wore the low tops en route to his first NBA Championship, but the high tops were best remembered for their bright colors including this one that was an original release in 1991.

A predominately white leather upper with accents of black and “citron” plus a clear sole - can’t go wrong. Look for these in October for $110 at Nike Urban doors.

Originally releasing in the early 90´s, the Nike Air Flight Lite is a classic basketball sneaker commonly known as the sneaker Scottie Pippen wore during the Bulls’ first championship season. With a few colorways already available, this black nubuck version with purple accents is the latest pair to be designed by Nike. It also includes an icy clear outsole. Expect this pair to release between October and November.
