Nike Air Max 1 “CMYK Pack” @ Purchaze

Nike Air Max 1 CMYK Pack at Purchaze

Purchaze received the

Nike Air Max 1 CMYK Pack in the “Metallic Silver/Metallic Silver-ZST-Anthracite” Colorway.

First introduced in 1987 with a visible Air unit and a highly-appreciated sneaker. Classic shape made of smooth silver leather and a silver mesh toebox also at the inner and heel lining. Featuring a very fresh yellow sole unit with anthracite outsole. Limited Quickstrike Edition!

CMYK (short for cyan, magenta, yellow, and key (Black), and often referred to as process color or four color) is a subtractive color model, used in color printing, also used to describe the printing process itself. The CMYK model works by partially or entirely masking certain colors on the typically white background (that is, absorbing particular wavelengths of light). Such a model is called subtractive because inks “subtract” brightness from white.

Thanks to Slamxhype.com we can give you today a preview on the upcoming Earthquake Huf Package which consists of an Nike Air Max 1 and an Nike Air Max 90. As you can see HUF continues with that crack-print which was already seen on former releases. Last year, San Francisco based, HUF SF, and Nike created the Earthquake Nike Air Force 1 which was a hit among many sneakerheads. This year, they’re back at it again and thanks to Keith Hufnagel and NimNim.net, we have a preview of part two of the “Earthquake” pack. The new series will still be based off the “crack” print and will include two models, the Air Max 1 and Air Max 90.

Release for both will be on the 20th of october as a quickstrike release with limited quantites less than 1000 pairs worldwide!

Nike Air Max 1 San Francisco MLB iD

To mark the 2007 MLB All-Star Game, Nike has created this special colorway originally intended for release at the Nike Town SF Corporate Party. However not all 150 pairs were sold resulting in the release of these outside the party. The sneakers feature a simple white colorway matched up with an orange swoosh, lining and stylized paint splatter logo on the heel. The upper also includes a mesh toebox and patent leather. This is also the second time an exclusive sneaker has been released for San Francisco the former being the Air Max 90 created for Nike Town’s 10th Anniversary.

Nike August & September 2007 “Retro Highlights”

Nike August and Spetember 2007 Retro Highlights

The summer will be winding before we want it to, but at least that mean that the heat won’t stop coming in the form of sneakers.

Nike Retro division has two runs of kicks that got our attention while looking through the catalogs. The first (top row) is part of the August Urbano line. Its been a minute since we have seen the Nike Air Flight 89´s and with patent leather, this one is a wrap. The Nike Air Max 90´s and Nike Vandal Lows aren’t award winners, but still finish off the trio in a nice way.

The bottom row is known as the “purple pack” for obvious reasons. Now don’t be surprised if you run into someone from Houston claiming that the Bayou city is behind the new trend of purple, but wherever the designers at Nike got the inspiration, we couldn’t care less as long as they come in our size.

The Purple Pack set to release on the 20th of August!

Nike Air Max 1/Air Max 90/Court Force “Shaved Ice/Kakigori” Package

Friday, July 6th, 2007 | Posted in Air Max 1, Air Max 90, Court Force, Sneaker News, Sneakers

Nike Shaved Ice Kakigori Package

We have seen two names for this package - one in English, the other in Japanese, and thanks to Wikipedia, we now know that both mean the same thing. Kakigori is a Japanese dessert that is made from shaved ice and flavored syrup. Middle America best knows this as a “snow cone.”

This sweet treat lent inspiration to Nike for the upcoming quickstrike package. The shoes have fading colors and three of the shoes have “icy” clear soles. This package consists of and Air Max 1, Air Max 90, and two Court Forces however we have only seen the lows on US sales sheets.

This package will drop on 14th of July. The Nike Air Max 1 and Nike Max 90 are $110, the Court Force Low´s are $90 and the Hi´s are $100. Should be a oversea exclusive release!

Nike Air Max 1 “Red Plaid”

Wednesday, July 4th, 2007 | Posted in Air Max 1, Sneaker News, Sneakers

Nike Air Max 1 Red Plaid

Here is the Nike Air Max 1 Red plaid, flannelette or lumberjack as it’s fondly known as, has always been reserved for the outdoors type alongside some other stereotypes we won’t name. Like all things sacred, fashionista irony wraps it’s grubby little hands on these garment styles and popularises the look. Most of the big street brands have been dabbling with the plaid look in response to the growing trend and now both Nike and Reebok have incorporated the materials into their range.

For the gentleman who coordinates outfits, these could be the final piece of the attire puzzle! The plaid actually works quite well and it’s nice to see that Nike used more on the outside of the shoe as opposed to Reebok’s incarnation.

Below we have red plaid in fine form across the Nike Air Max 1 and the Nike Court Force Hi, and a blue plaid across a Nike AM90 and Nike Air Stab. Set to release on the 20th of July!
