The third installment of the ongoing Nike Air Yeezy saga is almost upon us. After the first two Air Yeezy colorways created such chaos in the sneaker world, there is no reason to believe that the third version won’t do the same or worse. If you consider how many desperate sneakerheads out there missed out on the first two, despite their best efforts, you’d better believe that they will be working even harder for these. The Nike Air Yeezy “Net/Net”, which is actually tan with pink and dark grey accents has begun to arrive at select Nike retailers and the lines are forming already in anticipation. With its patent leather strap and glow-in-the-dark touches, the third Nike Air Yeezy colorway will be an extremely hot commodity when it drops, and has in fact already begun to pop up on eBay for some ridiculous prices. If you visit any other sneaker site out there, you have probably seen the official pics of the Nike Air Yeezy “Sportswear” cause everybody’s posted them. Originally we figured we would be a good boy and not post them up since the embargo date was set for something like April 2nd. Well, some people need their e-fame and decided to leak early, and as we stand we are no better right?

The Nike Air Yeezy has been an enigma of sorts ever since they were first spotted on Kanye’s feet. So much speculation has been going on as to what they are exactly, and if they will ever release to the public. What we do know is that they were created by Nike and Kanye West, and will release to the general public soon. A recent statement from Kanye West gives use a bit more insight as to the shoe’s release:

Don’t just be a fashion connoisseur, be a connoisseur of everything in life. Also, a big, huge shout to Kanye for changing my life. That’s all…. Oh yeah and the Air Yeezys and Pastelle coming real soon. Like real soon before you know it soon. via Kanye West

We’re still pretty much left out of the loop but we guess it’s something. So we can draw the conclusion that the Nike Air Yeezy should be hitting retailers very soon!

The Nike Air Yeezy was spotted at the 50th Grammy Awards during Kanye’s performance. Sources told us that Kanye was wearing his signature Nike shoe at the awards, but we refused to post the distant pics. Two months later Kanye West decides to unveil his mystery Nike shoe, the “Air Yeezy”. We now have an up close look at the Air Yeezy’s, but no additional info is available right now.
