The Nike Air Classic BW is often overlooked by other Nike models that are usually more hyped, but surely this time will be an exception. This Nike Air Classic BW is inspired by the original Nintendo Entertainment System that was invented in the 1980’s. Featuring many attributes of the game console, this pair of Nike Air Classic BW was released this week at certain Nike retailers. The two tones of gray used on this pair is split by a red stripe that goes around the whole shoe. The effort put into this shoe by Nike is evident by the detail that can be seen through all the references to the NES such as the select/start buttons on the upper and the repeating image of the control pad seen from the swoosh on one side to the swoosh on the other side. If you are interested, you might want to head quick to your Nike retailer because these will sell out quick.

The Nike Air Classic BW is definitely a classic in just about ever sense of the word. With a streamlined design, good colorways, and of course the Nike brand of quality assurance behind it, they’re some of the nicest kicks out there. This particular pair of Nike Air Classic BW’s comes adorned in large gauge mesh, giving it a very unique look that a lot of mesh fans will definitely appreciate. While maybe not the most impactful of all kicks, it’s the details that matter most, and with the sick material choices, slick outline, and general clean looks of these shoes, they should prove to be a hit among those that like their sneakers as clean as possible. The Olympic inspired collection from Nike has yielded an incredible array of interesting sneakers including the most recent Air Max Beijing 2008 Collection. The diverse collection consists of two Nike Air Max 1’s, an Nike Air Max 90, an Nike Air Max 95 and two Nike Air Classic BWs.

The “Birds’ Nest” Beijing National Stadium has been incorporated into the overall design of a few of the models along with a simple and meshing color-ways. Release is slated for August 8th at select Footlocker locations.

Nike Europe in conjunction with Foot Locker is slated to release this upcoming pack of sneakers featuring an array of models including the Nike Air Max 1, Nike Classic BW, Nike Air Max 90 and Shox NZ. The shoes are a part of what is being called “Miami South Beach” collection, for obvious reasons the shoes feature bright colors that fade from one color to the next along the outsoles and parts of the upper. The best part of this pack could be the fact that many of the shoes toeboxes feature mesh and not leather, a big hit amongst sneaker heads and Nike Air Max fans. We are hearing that these will be Europe exclusive.
