The quote-unquote Gucci look has been one of the most popular colourways for this season. This is the second Nike Dunk High Premium to feature the combination of forest green, deep red and black. DJ Clark Kent’s version repped the East coast for the Rivalry Pack but this joint is a little more specific. Released by Nike SB, these were originally designed by Girl Skateboards in 2005 to drop alongside the Nike Dunk SB Low “Tiffany” by Diamond Supply.

Apparently Crailtap wasn’t happy that Girl would give such a dope design to Nike, given their own Lakai footwear label. They axed the project, but now we are getting an updated version for late 2009. These come with ‘RESN’ on the tongue tag, a shout to Girl’s Sam Smyth, who used to spray that tag for the IBC crew all over the Bay Area. This Nike Dunk Hi Premium is made out of smooth black leather, anthracite felting and comes in a Black/Black-White Colorway.

Combines a classic shape, smooth black leather, anthracite felting, white laces and a white/clear sole unit. On the tongue you can find a white label with the words “Athletics North“. Fresh colorway and concept for the cold days.

Nike Sportswear has collaborated with Cassette Playa out of the United Kingdom once again on this Nike Dunk High Premium that is a part of the Rivals Pack from Nike Sportswear’s Holiday 2009 Collection. The original version of this shoe that we showed you had Cassette Playa graphics on the side panels of the upper and a Black midsole but now it looks like the graphics have been moved to the toebox of the shoes and tongue label with the midsole being colored in an Orange color. You can pick these up now at select Nike Sportswear retailers now.

When you hear the word Nike followed by Day of the Dead, most sneakerheads will immediately think of the much sought-after Dunk SB version, but a new pack is on the way that will attempt to share in the success of the original. Now we bring you a glimpse of the Nike Dunk High installment of the pack. The shoe sports a Black leather upper and midsole with large sections of Purple skull-n-bones type graphics covering the overlay. As if that wasn’t enough, the kicks also feature a Poison Green Swoosh and lining with some bright Orange found on the tongue label and all over the contrast stitching on the upper. As an added bonus, the insole is also graced by a stylized skeleton illustration that fits right in with the spooky aesthetic of the Pack. If you’ve been kicking yourself for years for missing out on the first Day of the Dead Dunk, you will get your shot at these when they hit Nike Quickstrike accounts in early November.

On this Nike Dunk SB Low Premium, the Nike SB team has employed an eclectic color-blocking theme that has been showcased on numerous silhouettes from previous Dunks to Nike Air Max 90s.

One can often go astray and overdo it when applying copious amounts of color to a shoe. However, Nike paid attention to detail and utilized subtle tactics to create a loud but sound sneaker. For example, the yellow and purple contrast stitching aptly compliments the outsole and laces, respectively. No worries for you timid ones out there, the Nike Dunk SB Low Premium “Green Spark/Hoop Orange” can definitely be pulled off especially with Halloween just around the corner.

Once it became official that skate superstar Eric Koston signed with Nike SB, a lot of sneakerheads’ minds began instantly racing, wondering what a Koston signature SB model would look like. As you’re aware, it takes time to create a new model from scratch, so to tide fans over, Nike SB has decided to give Eric his own Nike Dunk Low colorway in the meantime. As you can see, the shoe sports a solid Royal Blue upper with a Metallic Silver Swoosh and additional Red accents on the lining, midsole stitching and outlining the Swoosh. A white midsole and gum outsole finish off the design, helping to give it a classic, yet eye-catching appearance. The original pics appeared to have a Metallic Gold Swoosh, so it’s still uncertain which will be the final version, but either way, the shoe is expected to drop in June of next year, so stay tuned for more pics and info in the coming months.

There have been plenty of animal-inspired Nike SB releases. The latest in that category is a Nike Dunk SB Low Sample with a feature we have never seen before. No, we are not talking about the furry material on the sockliner that was a major part of the Three Bears Pack, but rather, something you can’t see. It’s the tongue. Not like all newer samples, it has a mix of a thin and fat tongue and if you press into it, you will hear a bird chirping. This latest edition has a bunch of earthy tones just in time for fall. They range from black and brown to several tones of green. Brighter notes of orange and yellow tie in the theme and make us wonder if it’s too early to grab the rake. There are also rumors that these are the Nike Dunk SB “Toxic Avenger” that’s been redesigned several times. In any case, these should be dropping soon, so we’ll keep you updated.
