Nike has produced a lot of hot women’s sneakers in 2008. This quickstrike release of the Nike Vandal for women is definitely one of the more exciting women’s releases of the year. These shoes will be a part of Nike’s fall 2008 collection.

Both versions of these shoes include exciting color schemes. The first shoe uses shiny blue, along with jet black and bright yellow accents. The other scheme features black and a bright turquoise. Gleaming leather is the material of choice in both versions, while a drastic contrast in colors is another shared quality. If you want to make an impression, you can get it done in these head turners.

With all of the increased energy and focus placed on the Nike Air Force 1 and the Nike Dunk within the past couple of years, an unsung hero of Nike’s early Basketball days, the Nike Vandal has, for the most part, been treated like a red headed step child (no disrespect intended to any red headed step children). In 2008, and perhaps beyond, the Nike Vandal will get it’s chance to shine. As part of several special upcoming Nike Vandal releases, Nike is set to release the Nike Vandal Hi Supreme “Black/Mint” in May at Nike Tier-Zero accounts. The Nike Vandal High Supreme “Black/Mint” features a Black upper with a Blue/Grey/Mint Green striped strap.

Just two days ago we gave you a first look at the upcoming Nike Vandal Hi Vintage, but it appears that Nike is doing much more with the Nike Vintage Vandals than just canvas uppers. This fall Nike will bring back the nylon upper Vandal Supremes. The last time these made it to the public was in 2003, and before that was two decades back.

So far we have gotten a sneak peek at three upcoming colors that are all originals that were released when the shoe premiered in 1984.

Nike is celebrating 1985 in a big way this year. Although the focus is on the Nike Dunk, we have recently seen the Nike Terminator being sanctioned with a special vintage-treated release, and now we find the Nike Vandal being given the same honour. The mixture of weather-beaten canvas uppers and nylon tongues make these kicks insanely comfortable right out of the box.

And for all those who say they can easily get a used pair from 2003 at a flea market for cheap, we have to remind you there is distinction between being made to appear well-seasoned opposed to being totally thrashed around in. Think pre-distressed denim VS what some guy has been sweating in for 5 years.

Over the past weeks, the Nike Comic Book Print Pack has slowly released to Nike accounts. In the pack is a pair of Nike Air Assault and Vandal Hi´s. Each pair contains multiple trademarks from comic books starting from the 1970s.

As you can see, the Nike Air Assault and Nike Vandal Hi contain the famous explosion or punch, with Blue spots that are seen on certain types of comic books. Major DC has launched both pairs, so if your in the area check them out.

We give you a preview of an interesting pack that will only be released in August 2008, the Nike Hard and Heavy Pack. It consists of the Nike Terminator and the Nike Vandal, that come in a punk inspired design this time. Metal studs are placed on black/gold sneakers. Also each sneaker comes with a special Nike guitar pick.

Nike is no stranger to using Canvas as their upper material and their newest Nike Vandal Hi will feature a Green Canvas upper with a White swoosh and silver accents.

Many of you may remember the Asia exclusive Purple and Silver Canvas Vandals, one of the most popular of the Canvas Vandals. It is nice to see that Nike continues to use classic and simple designs for 2008.
