Fabrics are definitely making a statement on Nike products recently including this upcoming Nike Air Max 1. The upper of the sneaker feature several different swatches of plaid, which is pretty trendy in fashion and streetwear alike. The mudguard and the swoosh gets a treatment of black leather and the lining and outsole are also colored in black. The midsole is a bright white against the darker upper and bottom. Nike’s Quilted Pack for the Holiday 08 season has already had images of two very solid models drop, all with said quilted leather: a black Air Max 1 and a Free Hybrid Boot. Now, the previous Nike Air Max 1 gains a brother in this Light Bone incarnation of that timeless silhouette, done up in the signature Quilted Leather of the pack. While Light Bone may just be another phrase for off-white, these kicks are anything but ordinary. The quiet colorway is in no way a detractor to the overall look, which looks distinctly upper-crust. These kicks have earned the “Premium” title beyond all doubt, and their clean lines should find them more than a few fans. The entire quilted pack is appearing to be an unquestionable success for Nike’s Holiday lineup, and will definitely round off the year’s releases quite nicely when they drop later this year.

For the upcoming Holiday 08 season, Nike will be releasing a Quilted Pack, which these Nike Air Max 1 Premium´s will be part of. Using quilted leather as the defining feature, these shoes are the epitome of clean. With essentially only white and black as the two colors on the shoe, these shoes let the materials do the talking for them. Premium grade quilted leather definitely gives these kicks a refined edge that should find widespread love; their black quilted Free Hybrid Boot cousins were warmly received, and nothing less should be expected from the debut of these. It’s definitely a good year to be an Nike Air Max fan, what with the Nike Air Max 1 “Safari”, Nike Air Max 95 “Chili and Neon” and the return of the infamous Nike Air Max 90 “Infrared”. This latest drop only solidifies what has been an excellent 2008 for the Nike Air Max name, and these quilted masterpieces look to close off the year with a bang. Keep an eye out for its Light Bone colored brother, of whom images will be up shortly tomorrow!

Nike will be releasing a Mid-Autumn Festival Pack of sneakers consisting of three sneakers, an Nike Air Max 1 Supreme, Nike Blazer Mid and Nike Terminator Hi. The pack looks to celebrate the Chinese holiday known as the Mid-Autumn Festival. The pack of shoes come in Dark Red and Gold as the color inspiration came from mooncake packaging, traditionally the Chinese people will eat mooncakes during the festival. Some additional details on the shoes include various embossed and debossed imagery including the chrysanthemum flower and a hare, both of which are related to the Mid-Autumn Festival. Unfortunately for those of us here in the US, this pack of sneakers is limited to China only.

Here’s a look at Nike´s Air Max 1 Premium´s that will be releasing in 2009. As you can see, all the shoes in this line-up focus on quality materials such as: safari print in various shapes and color patterns along with the traditional suede and leather finishes. Also included in the collection will be two color schemes present for women: a purple, violet, green Nike Air Max 1 with the other in an almost reverse color block. Look for these to be dropping sometime in the beginning of 2009. As we get more info, we will be sure to keep you posted.

Nike’s Olympic inspired models have consistently made it into the headlines of Air Max 1’s entitled the Nike Air Max 1 “Olympic Perforated Metal Pack”. This package features a perforated leather upper in two distinct colorways, gold and silver. Furthermore, the two Nike Air Max 1’s get a bit of a boost with the white mid-sole and clear air-sole, a perfect addition to the sleek colorway. Look for these and many of the other Olympic based models to be released next Friday.
