Nike Air Jordan Alpha 1 White/Black–Varsity Red

The Nike Air Jordan Alpha 1 has been seen on some of Jordan Brand´s best NBA players, but the whole point of this shoe is to go back to Chicago, circa 1985. That is where you will find a supremely smooth new colourway of the Nike Air Jordan Alpha 1. The white overlay is perforated on the toe and side panels to reveal a black underlay and polka dot-like visual that nicely blends the high-contrast palette. These will hit Jordan Brand retailers in the near future, so stick with NewKicksOnTheBlog for updates.

Nike Air Jordan 1 Phat 20 White/Black-Varsity Red

The continuing trend of Air Jordan 1s with slick designs continues with this latest Nike Air Jordan 1 inspired by the original colourway of the Nike Air Jordan XX. The middle panel of the Nike Air Jordan 1 Phat 20 features the laser print found on the large in-step strap of the XX, with a clear swoosh giving no disruption of viewing. The inner liner and ankle padding house a luxurious graphic while patent leather is used on the upper toe and ankle wings. The Jordan 1 started off as strictly a basketball shoe but this latest make-up seems fitting for a king, doesn´t it?

Nike Air Jordan 1 AJKO Retro “White/Varsity Red–Black”

Nike Air Jordan 1 AJKO Retro White/Varsity Red–Black 402297-101

Word association game? A sneakerhead would respond to “1985″ with “Nike Air Jordan 1″ with unflinching speed and without a second thought. There is no shame in that; the Nike Air Jordan 1 is the shoe that started the sneaker-collecting craze and the constant release of retros keeps up hungry and wanting more. Amid all the Nike Air Jordan releases we are expecting this year, get ready for the knock-out punch that will top them all; the return of the Nike Air Jordan 1 AJKO.

After a quarter-century after its original release, the AJKO rejoins us donning the same canvas upper that made it the standout that it was. The reincarnation of Nike Air Jordan 1 KO is almost spot-on with the materials and AJKO Wings logo, but there are a few minor details that might cause some stir. The Jumpman logo has replaced the OG Nike Air logo, but that is expected with all Nike Air Jordans post Nike-Jordan Brand split. The bottom sole, however, takes on a Nike Dunk/Air Jordan 1 sole, and the midsole is given the dirty treatment, as seen on Nike’s vintage rehashings like the Nike Vandal Nylon VNTG. For the Jordan heads out there who may not be familiar AJKO, consider these the ultimate retro of 2010.

Nike Wmns Air Force 1 Hi Supreme LE “Black/Metallic Gold”

Nike Wmns Air Force 1 Hi Supreme LE Black/Metallic Gold 386152-001

The gold detailing, black midsole and swoosh, complete with a shiny and croc-print-esque black upper the line up for this, the latest drop from Nike Womens division. The Nike Air Force 1 Hi Supreme LE features a canvas ankle strap, which is also black. Scales aside, this a more restrained womens colourway than usual which I think is a good thing, being that the usual multi-coloured and more garish colourways usually appeal more to the male than female crowd.

Nike Air Jordan III (3) Retro White/Black Unreleased 2006 Sample

This Nike Air Jordan III Retro looks like it belongs alongside this year’s Jordan Motorsports pack (the first to be released to retail, in the six year series), but is actually from 2006. It has hand written numbering on the outer heel (count/count) and a single digit on the inner heel that might represent different componentry. Doesn’t really matter, though, since you are not going to wear them anyway. This size 9 sample is available for your collection on eBay.

This pair sports a Black patent/nubuck upper with splashes of University Blue on the midsole, branding, lining and contrast stitching.
