We have now spotted another unique Nike Blazer SB.

This particular Nike Blazer Premium SB “Kiss” Midwest Gold/Black contains a midwest gold upper with black accents on the swoosh, heel, tongue and toe box. However, the one of the more interesting features on this sneaker is the lip designs that are spread sporadically over the midwest gold base. To finish it off, this sneaker is complimented with a white rubber sole.

Earlier in the week, Beijing based kenlu help break the story on this years “Year of…” sneaker from Nike (the Nike Air Max 1 Year of the Ox). Since, we have learned that a second sneaker will also be released as part of the pack. As we’ve said earlier in the week, more and more sneaker companies are doing a special China shoe to celebrate the “Year of…” story around Chinese New Year’s but every sneaker head knows Nike was the first sneaker company to celebrate this occasion and it all started with the “Year of…” Nike Air Force 1’s which continued up through the Nike Air Force 1 Low”Year of the Dog”. For those of you who aren’t familiar with the Chinese Animal Zodiac you can read up on it here.

For this Nike Blazer Premium “Year of the Ox”, the treatment is the same as the Nike Air Max 1 which takes inspiration from the Chinese Revolution and the military uniforms that were worn during that period, the 1960’s through the 1970’s. On the Nike Air Max 1’s tongue there is a phase written in Chinese characters which translates to “perseverance” or “hard work”. The same is probably applied to the Nike Blazer as well but is not seen from the photos available currently. The heel tab of the Nike Blazer gets the same graphic of the Ox on a raised surface which is also inspired by the Chinese Cultural Revolution. Both pairs will be released in Asia early January 2009.

The Nike Blazer SB “Made for Skate” is one of the most limited Blazer’s released by the Nike SB camp to date. This pair is limited to 24 pairs worldwide and features a huge toe cap on the front of the toebox. The colorway used on this pair of Blazer’s is very dope and brings back some retro/80’s era of skateboarding for some of us. Some additional details include the wording on the inside of the tongue which reads, “For Skateboard Use Only Not Designed for Other Activities”. Additionally the insole of the shoe features a nice graphic that matches the exterior of the shoe.

You remember the beautiful Nike WMNS Blazer Mid Premium from the year long Zodiac story that we saw a number of Nike WMNS shoes inspired by. This Nike Blazer unfortunately is the last of the Zodiac story for this year and it is inspired by the Capricorn. As a result of being a Premium shoe, this Nike Blazer “Capricorn” features an all over Elephant Print on the upper of the shoe that if titled at certain angles will show various hints of Baby Blue. We believe that in addition to the Gray laces seen in the picture above there will also be a pack of Baby Blue laces in the box that matches the accented Elephant Print. You can pick these Nike WMNS Blazer Premium’s up at select Nike retailers now.

Releasing in the near future is the Nike Blazer SB “Lance Mountain” Pack. The pack consists of a Nike Blazer SB, cap, t-shirt and M-65 jacket.

The Nike Blazer Hi SB comes in a really nice premium leather on the upper, inspired by one of Lance’s vintage leather jackets. The lining is red and quilted, other accents such as the tags, Swoosh and logos all come tonal on the upper. Matching the sneakers, Nike made a fitted cap, t-shirt and a M-65 jacket, all very solid pieces, also coming in black and red.

Nike will be releasing a Mid-Autumn Festival Pack of sneakers consisting of three sneakers, an Nike Air Max 1 Supreme, Nike Blazer Mid and Nike Terminator Hi. The pack looks to celebrate the Chinese holiday known as the Mid-Autumn Festival. The pack of shoes come in Dark Red and Gold as the color inspiration came from mooncake packaging, traditionally the Chinese people will eat mooncakes during the festival. Some additional details on the shoes include various embossed and debossed imagery including the chrysanthemum flower and a hare, both of which are related to the Mid-Autumn Festival. Unfortunately for those of us here in the US, this pack of sneakers is limited to China only.

Nike recently released a Nike Blazer Hi “Black/Light Brown” as part of their Black kix push. The Nike Blazer Hi “Black/Light Brown” features a Black Leather upper sitting on a Black sole. A Light Brown Swoosh and heel tab break up the Black upper.

Pictured above is Nike’s latest collaboration SB sneaker, which features the art of Craig Stecyk and Lance Mountain. For those of you into skate culture, Craig Stecyk is considered, by many, the Godfather of skateboarding because of his work as a skateboard artist and photojournalist. Lance Mountain, on the other hand, was a popular skateboarder during the 80’s as part of the Bones Brigade skate team. The end result of the skateboarding duo’s collaboration is this flashy orange suede Blazer. The colors and materials were said to be created by Stecyk, while the heel features Mountain’s signature skull logo. The sneaker also contains a black inner lining, and is finished off with a white midsole. This Nike Blazer Hi SB sneaker is scheduled to release sometime in October.
