Nike Air Maxim Original Colorways Red and Blue

One of Nike’s most innovative sneakers, Air Max was first introduced in 1987, catering specifically to runners, The signature see-through Air Sole attracted the attention of consumers and runners, and continues to be a staple in the market. This season, the folks at Nike took cues from Air Max and created an original - Nike Air Maxim 1.

The new Nike Air Maxim 1 is 66% lighter than the Original Nike Air Max 1, clocking in at only 10.1 oz. This is made possible by both the Acespan Mesh that was developed in 2008 for the Lunar Racer, and also a new Flywire technology used in the 2008 Zoom Victory Spike. Available in a blue and red, the Nike Air Maxim also feature interesting translucent rip-stop nylon upper that is stylistically reminiscent of the see through Air Soles. Available in August 2009.

Nike Air Max 90 Perforated Dark Grey/Blue

Nike Sportswear has continued to use the lated, perforated style of the classic Nike Air Max 90 in a handful of notable releases in recent months. Another suede version of the perforated Nike Air Max 90 has just surfaced in a clean, dark grey and blue colorway. The entire upper is dark grey, perforated suede with white stitching and a black leather Swoosh. Blue is used on the plastic parts along the laces along with the Nike Air Max logo above the Nike Air bubble. The midsole is the same color dark grey as the upper, with blue covering the area Nike Air bubble. The release details of these Nike Air Max 90´s are still unknown. Most of us already know the the Nike Air Jordan I Retro Hi will make a comeback in the Spring 2009 season from Jordan Brand, what we didn’t expect was this new Blue Sapphire pair to be included into the mix that already includes a Black and Infared pair as well as a Pewter, Black, and Max Orange pair that comes at a Premier level. It’s safe to say that with these three Nike Air Jordan I Retro Hi pairs being released in Spring 2009, Jordan fans will definitely be pleased with the assortment from Jordan Brand. The Nike Air Jordan I Retro Hi will retail for $105 while the Nike Air Jordan 1 Hi Premier pair will retail for $115.

The Nike Skateboarding team is at it again for 2009, this time with the Nike Dunk SB Low Premium.

This upcoming Nike Dunk SB Low gets a Marge Simpson like colorway similar to a previously released high version. These kicks get a unique crackled leather on the toebox area, and side panel. A mix of light colors include blue, green, and yellow, all sit a top a khaki colored sole. With the Marge and Homer Dunks that have dropped in the past we can only wonder what inspired these kicks.

A new colorway of the Nike Air Trainer TW II from Nike Skateboarding is making its way out into Nike SB retailers everywhere. This may remind some of you of the Nike Dunk SB “Jordan Pack” from a few years back which feature the same color scheme. The inspiration for this colorway is from the Nike Dunk SB “Jordan Pack”, there have also been two other inspired colorways including the Nike Dunk Hi “Un-Futura”, and Nike Blazer “Sea Crystal”. The upper features a combination of black and blue in suede, leather, nubuck and the TW’s plastic webbing on the side-panels. Look for this colorway at your local Nike SB retailers now.
