Nike Dunk Hi Challenge Supreme UNION NYC

This morning UNION NYC quietly released their first Nike collaboration to the public, the Nike Dunk Hi Challenge Supreme “UNION NYC”. As you can see from the name of this Nike Dunk and the colors and patterns used, inspiration came from the Nike Air Tech Challenge Hot Lava colorway. Another interesting note is the heel strap which came from the Nike Vandal, on the strap is the collaborative UNION logo. Only 100 pairs of this Dunk has been made and by the time you read this, they have probably been sold out already. Your best bet at this point is to wait for them to show up on ebay.

Nike Dunk Hi Supreme “Paisley” Black/White

Nike Dunk Hi Supreme Paisley Black/White

A new Nike Dunk Hi Supreme has been released in a simple Black and White colorway, the reason for the Supreme in the name of the shoe is not because of the skate/street brand from New York but rather because of the treatment and materials applied to this particular Nike Dunk High. A nice paisley print is imprinted into the leather of the upper of the shoe as well as screenprinted on the insole. Additionally the shoes use a premium and rich suede giving it a great feel to it. The shoes are available now at select Nike Sportswear retailers.

Nike WMNS Dunk Hi “Married to the Mob” Sample

Friday, February 6th, 2009 | Posted in Nike Dunk, Sneaker News, Sneakers

Nike WMNS Dunk Hi Married to the Mob Sample

The final version of the collaboration with between the well known, feminine urban fashion brand Married to the Mob (MOB) and Nike Sportswear was a mostly white, tweed WMNS Nike Dunk Hi that was reminiscent of the classic Chanel, tweed suit.

From the looks of the sample in the picture above, it looks like MOB sought inspiration from other high fashion labels before finalizing the design of their shoe. This sample is designed with an all cloth upper covered by a haymarket check pattern with a gum sole and white mid-sole. The only feature of this shoe that made it to final production are the MOB gold lace-locks. For those of you familiar with Burberry, it is clear why these samples never made it to production and word is only 2 to 5 pairs were ever manufactured.

Nike WMNS Dunk Hi Premium White/White/Varsity Red/Rave Pink

The multicolored Nike WMNS Dunk Hi featured above is made exclusively for the ladies and will hit Nike retailers in early January of 2009. Yielding an upper composed of varsity red, rave pink, bronze, light green, and turquoise, this sneaker deviates from the simple look we are used to seeing on women’s Nike Dunk´s. The use of a clean white swoosh and a white toebox complete this pair by adding the finishing touches needed to contrast the rest of the multicolored upper. As previously mentioned, this pair will hit Nike retailers in early January of 2009 for a retail price of $105.

Nike Dunk Hi XBOX 360 Inspired

This time two different pairs of Nike Dunk Hi´s are done up in XBOX 360 colorways.

The Nike Dunk Hi “XBOX 360″ comes in both a white and black colorway, both come equipped with neon green accent colors and laces. Stitching is also done in the neon green while the Swoosh is hit up with a foil-like silver treatment.

We all know the XBOX 360 can’t compete with the Wii, but as far as the kicks go, I think these Nike Dunk´s are easily the best gaming console inspired shoes to date.
