Nike Dunk High Premium DJ AM Varsity Red/Grey-Black

Since the unfortunately death of DJ AM, many have wondered if the Nike Dunk he designed will ever release. DJ Premier recently mentioned on his show that the DJ AM Dunk was still on schedule and earlier today Kasina confirmed this by surprisingly releasing them. This collaboration Nike Dunk features DJ AM’s logo on the tongue, black patent leather wrapping much of the shoe, red premium leather for the toebox, side panels and the upper heel while a light grey swoosh and a white midsole round out the shoe. A unique feature are the three rows of perforations along the heel with 3M underneath, similar to the dots of a Technics Turntable for RPM reading. We are sure an announcement regarding the availability will be made soon so stay with NewKicksOnTheBlog for the update.

Nike Air Trainer SC Black/Grey Holiday 09

Back in the late 80’s and early 90’s, the Nike Air Trainer line was given a big boost by the “Bo Knows” ad campaign. Bo Jackson was one of the most electrifying athletes you could ever watch and as an athlete endorser for Nike, he lent instant credibility to the kicks he sported, not only for his dazzling efforts on the baseball and football field, but for his likable personality and superhuman aura. The Nike Air Trainer SC has since gone on to reach classic status in the sneaker world and with plenty of excitement surrounding their new Nike Trainer 1 model, Nike has decided to re-release the Nike Air Trainer SC this winter in a colorway that’s is still near and dear to Bo. The kicks he made famous will be returning in a crisp Black/Grey color scheme that is obviously influenced by Jackson’s days as an L.A. Raider. You can expect these super-fresh classics to hit shelves some time during the holiday ‘09 season. Stay tuned for specific release info and be sure to check out a bunch more pics after checking that link.
