Nike Air Jordan 1 Retro Hi Ruff N Tuff - Quai 54 Edition

You may remember seeing the Ruff N Tuff Quai 54 edition of the Jordan Elements and now an Nike Air Jordan 1 Retro Hi version has just started to pop up in some stores across the pond. To coincide with the basketball tournament held every year in France, Jordan Brand has whipped up a fresh new Nike Air Jordan 1 colorway with a Laser Blue wrinkled leather upper, a speckled midsole and a clear outsole that allows a graphic pattern to show through on the bottom. Also of note is the same wild patterned lining that was featured on the Nike Jordan Elements “Quai 54″. These have already begun to hit select Jordan retailers in Europe and are not expected to drop in the States, so you might want to try eBay.

Nike Dunk SB Hi Gucci Colorway Release in 2009

Back in 2006 Nike SB planned to release a pair of Nike Dunk High SB “Gucci” colorway as a quickstrike. It was originally be a part of the team manager series and designed by Girl Skateboards. Unfortunately, the project was scrapped due to some issue inside the Crailtap group. As a result, there were only less than 30 pairs sample existing in the market.

But in the forth quarter of 2009 we will have this Gucci Nike Dunk SB Hi back into the market. The shoe is the same color scheme as the 2006 sample with black denim toe cap and heel cap, deep forest toe box and side panel, and red swoosh.

Nike Air Jordan Retro 1 Hi Metallic Do the Right Thing Pack

The Nike Air Jordan line and Spike Lee’s “Do the Right Thing” will forever be linked in popular culture. The classic scene when Buggin’ Out bugs out after getting his Nike Air Jordan IV “White/Cement” scuffed by a “white guy wearing a Celtics jersey”, showed the world just how passionate the streets were about their Nike Air Jordans.

To celebrate the 20th anniversary of the “Do the Right Thing“, the film originally released in 1989, Nike Jordan Brand is set to release two Nike Air Jordan Retro 1 Hi´s “Do the Right Thing”. The “Do the Right Thing” Nike Air Jordan Retro 1 His feature a White with Metallic Red accents and a White with Metallic Green accents. Both of these colorways are in fact OG colorways that were part of a “Metallic” collection of Nike Air Jordan 1´s. These newer retros feature a print around the ankle collar which the Originals did not feature. The Do the Right Thing Jordan Collection will also feature DTRT themed apparel to link up with the kix.

Both Nike Air Jordan Retro 1 Hi Do the Right Thing sneakers are set to release separately (no package, just a pack) around July.

We all know the Nike Air Force 2 is nowhere near the Nike Air Force 1 when is comes to popularity. However, there are a few Nike Air Force 2 colorways that catches one’s eye such as the Nike Air Force 2 Premium “Gucci”. We have now spotted another colorway of the Nike Air Force 2 that is set to drop shortly.

It features a predominately black leather upper with yellow accents in the form of the shoelaces and Nike logo tag on the tongue. The toe area is also smothered in yellow as well. This sneaker is also complimented with a white swoosh and midsole, along with a classic gum bottom. Look for the Nike Air Force 2 “Black/Yellow-White” at select retailers now.

Nike Air Trainer SC Hi White/Light Grey-Total Orange

The original Nike Air Trainer SC Hi will be making a return in the Fall 2009 Season from Nike. While it is still months away, just the thought of this shoe in this White and Total Orange colorway is enough to make some of us sneakerheads set aside the money now. This White, Light Zen Grey, Total Orange, and Stealth colorway of the Nike Air Trainer SC Hi is the original colorway of the Nike Bo Jackson signature shoe at the time when Bo was still a part of Nike’s roster of prolific athletes in 1990. Since then this colorway of the shoe has only been retroed once, so make sure you mark your calender, as these will surely be a highly sought after pair come Fall 2009 and a great pair of kicks to rock during the first day of class. Most of us already know the the Nike Air Jordan I Retro Hi will make a comeback in the Spring 2009 season from Jordan Brand, what we didn’t expect was this new Blue Sapphire pair to be included into the mix that already includes a Black and Infared pair as well as a Pewter, Black, and Max Orange pair that comes at a Premier level. It’s safe to say that with these three Nike Air Jordan I Retro Hi pairs being released in Spring 2009, Jordan fans will definitely be pleased with the assortment from Jordan Brand. The Nike Air Jordan I Retro Hi will retail for $105 while the Nike Air Jordan 1 Hi Premier pair will retail for $115.

This Nike Dunk SB Hi Premium is one of the more interesting Dunk’s from the Nike SB collection we’ve seen in some time. The Navy contrasted with the Red on the upper is brightened with the numerous Yellow stars sewn on the Red portion of the upper. Add the White midsole and Gum outsole and it seems like we might have another must have SB Dunk High on our hands. Update: This Nike Dunk SB Hi is actually inspired by the Family Guy character Glen Quagmire and should be in stores early 2009.
