Nike Dunk SB Hi “Mint Chocolate” Unreleased Sample

Nike Dunk SB Hi Mint Chocolate Unreleased Sample

Here is an interesting Nike Dunk SB Hi that made it to the production floor and unfortunately will stay that way. From what RIF LA calls these, they are perhaps inspired by mint chocolate chip ice cream. Had it been a full mint colored upper with black speckles similar to the actual ice cream texture, the shoe maybe have been on another level, but instead solid colors has been used. The upper features what looks to be premium leathers and suedes. The toebox and side panels, in black and mint green respectively, are in tumbled leather. The toe area and lower part of the heel is in a black suede, the eyelets are in a mint green suede and upper heel is in a black tumbled leather. Unfortulately they have been scrapped but of course you can cop them for a cool 2500 beans.

Nike Air Jordan 1 Retro Hi GS “Black/Vivid Blue”

Nike Air Jordan 1 Retro Hi GS Black/Vivid Blue

It seems we usually are complaining about releases of certain Nike Air Jordan shoes being limited to Europe or Asia but never in non Men’s sizes, that is until now, with this upcoming Nike Air Jordan 1 Retro Hi Girls GS (Grade School) in Black and Vivid Blue with an interesting pattern on the inside of the shoe’s collar. Had the Vivid Blue been a Royal Blue I’m sure some Jordan fans would be even more disappointed, as it would resemble one of the original Air Jordan 1 colorways but the Vivid Blue contrasted against the Black upper and White midsole still looks very nice. You will be able to find the Nike Air Jordan 1 Retro Hi GS “Black/Vivid Blue” at select Jordan Brand accounts now within the US.

Nike Dunk SB Hi “Heavens Gate” Sample

Nike Dunk SB Hi Heavens Gate Sample

The Nike SB group of designers must have a tough time getting various shoes into retail doors, first it was the Nike Dunk SB Low “Freddy Krueger” and now it’s this Nike Dunk SB Hi “Heaven’s Gate” that have made their way to the sampling stage but not product shelf. This Nike Dunk Hi Pro SB was inspired by “Heaven’s Gate“, a religious group that is best known for committing mass suicide in 1997, where 38 members were found dead all wearing the same exact outfits which happened to include a brand new pair of Nike shoes on each of the member’s feet. The Nike SB team decided to take various points of inspiration from the religious group and apply it to this Nike Dunk Hi but it seems various powers to be at Nike may have shut the project down as the shoes never hit Nike SB retailers in the Fall 2008 season like they were supposed to.

Nike Dunk SB Hi Premium Soda Cup

Although the pics are surfacing just as the holiday buying season begins and the colors evoke a Christmas theme, these Nike Dunk SB Hi Premium aren’t affiliated with St. Nick. Instead, they’re releasing around next Easter, April 9, 2008 according to SneakerNews, who’ve dubbed these “Soda Cup“. They posted the pic on their blog along with this release date so that we can all get excited. The rich red upper has suede on the toe and rear panel/wing and perforated leather toebox, tongue, side panel and sole. A white swoosh, heel and midsole, green laces and brown lining give all that red a nice balance. We will keep you posted as more pics surface.

Nike Dunk SB Hi Premium “Quagmire”

Nike Dunk SB Hi Premium Quagmire

Nike Skateboarding made Nike Dunks for Marge and Homer Simpson, what’s to say they aren’t going to do the same for Family Guy. Here is a new pair of Premium SBs slated for 2009 release that bare the name “Quagmire” because the rear panel/wing and side panel are a bright red with yellow embroidered stars just like the shirt worn by the sex-crazed character on Fox. At first glance, this might look like a patriotic pack, so we’ll keep an eye on these to see exactly when the Nike Dunk SB Hi Premium “Quagmire” drop.

Nike Air Jordan 1 Hi Black Laser

Samples of a potential Nike Air Jordan I Hi release have been released. They feature a black leather upper with laser inserts on the toe box and side panels, also sport a white sole and gum rubber sole. Unlike the glut of Nike Air Jordan I releases these are noticeably closer to the originals with a higher cut. No details are known regarding its release date but fingers crossed and hope that Jordan Brand drops the Nike Air Jordan 1 Hi “Black Laser” sometime soon.
