Nike Air Force 1 Low All Black Everything x Jay-Z

On Thursday, August 12, NIKE, Inc. will bring together the world of sport and entertainment in an unprecedented way as one of basketball’s most prestigious teams shares the stage with one of the world’s greatest entertainers. Music mogul and multi-platinum selling recording artist JAY-Z will take the stage at New York’s Radio City Music Hall for an electrifying musical performance following a one-of-a-kind, on-court showcase featuring finalists for the 2010 USA Basketball World Championship Team as part of the inaugural World Basketball Festival – brought together by Converse, the Jordan Brand and Nike Basketball.

The entire Radio City Music Hall basketball and musical performance will stream live on http://www.facebook.com/wbf beginning at 6:30 p.m. EDT until its conclusion. Following the event at Radio City Music Hall, highlights will be available online at NBA.com and USABasketball.com.

In addition to his performance at Radio City Music Hall, JAY-Z has joined forces with Nike to create an iconic collection of Air Force Ones – the All Black Everything collection inspired by the World Basketball Festival. Nike has donated the shoes to the Shawn Carter Scholarship Foundation who in turn have linked up with eBay on a charity auction where the five unique pairs will raise funds for its mission to provide financial assistance to promising individuals upon acceptance into any accredited institution of higher learning.

One hundred percent of the funds raised will support the Shawn Carter Scholarship Foundation. The charity auction begins on August the 12, and bidders can visit http://www.ebay.com/jayznikewbf to enter a bid. Only two pairs of each of the five designs will be created, one for the winning bidder and one for the man behind the design, JAY-Z. The charity auction begins on August 12, at 9:00 a.m. EDT and ends on August 22, at 9:00 a.m. EDT.

The legend of the Nike Air Force 1 Bespoke continues, with the latest pair being a design from Marcus Troy, urban fashion/culture blogger extraordinaire. Known for its use of a number of materials, this pair of the Nike Air Force 1 Bespoke, like the pair designed by Dan Hwang, follows that trend as Marcus Troy handpicked the kevlar, suede, leather, and waterproof denim to adorn his pair of the Bespoke. On top of the lush materials, this pair features a great black/grey/blue colourway and a pair of dubraes engraved with Marcus and Troy. The Nike Rivalry Pack has generated a ton of hype, and rightfully so; designs were exclusive to hip-hop’s heaviest hitters, and who better than DJ Premier, who’s hit some of the biggest hip-hop grand slams, would fit this category? We have only seen raw sketches of the shoe, but check out these images to see a plethora of personal DJ Premier details. Premier’s logo on the outer toe guard, his stage name branded on the rear heels, and a clear ice gum-sole that acts as a window to a clever graphic of 1s and 2s are some of the accessories on Premier’s contribution to the Nike Rivalry Pack. This limited pair Nike Air Force 1 Low are set to drop in tandem with the Nike Dunk High Premium “DJ AM” on January 9th at select Nike Retailers.

Nike Air Force 1 Low Savage Beast

The majority of you were undoubtedly excited about the Nike Air Force 1 Low “Black Friday” which featured a predominance of black pony hair on the upper. If you fell in love with the pony attribute, you will not have to look any further than this sneaker.

With that said, the Nike Air Force 1 Low “Savage Beast” is, well, very beastly to say the least. Its base is done up and smothered entirely in orange pony hair. The only other color and texture designs on this sneaker is the beige canvas swoosh and heel tab (which reads, Savage Beast in red) along with the black and red Nike tongue logo and the debray. To finish it off, this sneaker is complimented with a brown outsole. Look for the Nike Air Force 1 Low “Savage Beast” to hit Nike retailers very soon.

It looks like Nike will hook up with New York artist “Futura”, once again in Spring 2010 when these Nike Air Force 1 Low’s are released. Nike has worked with Futura on a number of projects in the past and the artist is one of the most highly regarded amongst sneakerheads worldwide. There will be at least two different colorways of the Nike Air Force 1 Low “Futura”, one in White and Orange and another in Grey and White. Futura’s logo is featured on the shoe’s tongue. Both shoe’s also feature what looks like a fading perforated leather on the upper.

Nike Air Force 1 Low White/Hot Red-Black

A new Nike Air Force 1 “White” from Nike has been released just in time for the Summer months of 2009. This Nike Air Force 1 Low “White/Hot Red-Black” features a White base with hints of Black and Hot Red on the shoe’s outsole and heel tab. The heel tab, pictured above, features s splatter-like print that is similar to that of the print used on the Nike Air Tech Challenge “Rebel” colorway that also used Hot Red and Black accented against a White leather base. These Nike Air Force 1’s are available now at select Nike retailers.
