So far, 2009 has been a pretty quiet year for the Nike Air Force 1 with most recent releases taking a simplistic approach with clean colorways and conservative color blocking. The upcoming Holiday ‘09 collection stays with the same concept for the most part, but the crispy white uppers that were seen all spring and summer have been replaced with some darker looks for the winter. The next few months will see the release of numerous new colorways of the Nike Air Force 1 for both men and women. As you might expect, the Nike Air Force 1 Low is well-represented, but Holiday ‘09 will also see some nice new looks for the Mid and High, as well as some fresh Premium models that use a variety of interesting materials and textures. We have recently shown you a number of impressive Nike Air Force 1’s “Bespoke” that have been created by a variety of sneakerheads and the trend of late has seemed to be Elephant Skin. Here is a nice refreshing edition of the Nike Air Force 1 that somehow manages to look fresh with no Elephant print at all. These kicks use some very interesting material choices like red suede, a denim Swoosh and what appears to be a canvas tongue. Add to that some croc skin on the heel tab and tongue label and some bright orange accents and you have a pretty interesting specimen. The final touches are provided by a transparent white midsole and a gum outsole. Nike will be releasing this upcoming Nike Air Force 1 Low Premium as a part of the Fall 2009 Collection from Nike Sportswear. While the colorway is simple, White upper and Gum outsole, it’s the pattern stitched on the upper that makes this White Air Force 1 so appealing. We are dubbing this Nike Air Force 1 Low the “Un Michael Lau” due to the astounding resemblance to the Nike Air Force 1 x Michael Lau 1World “Crazy”. The upper of this Nike Air Force 1 Low Premium “Un Michael Lau” features a intricate woven pattern that looks similar to the one used on the Nike Air Force 1 “Michael Lau”. The Gum outsole used on this Nike Air Force 1 should be well received by a number of Nike Air Force 1 fans as that is something that is always asked for. Look for these to drop soon at select Nike Sportswear retailers.
