Nike Big Nike Hi Retro “Red/Black/White”

Nike Big Nike Hi Retro Red/Black/White

While we have seen a ton of previews for what may be dropping from Nike next year, we haven’t seen too many new models (or lesser seen models) that are scheduled to drop. That will change, however, with the re-issue of the Nike Big Nike Hi, which hasn’t been released since the 1980’s. The Nike Big Nike Hi is a shoe that is sort of a mix between the Nike Terminator and the Nike Dunk, which makes a great looking shoe. The shoe we see above is a sample pair of a Nike Big Nike High that appears to be in a red/black-white colorway with a gum sole. The lower part of the heel area on the upper features “NIKE” printed in capital letters, similar to what you might see on a Terminator. These shoes aren’t due out until the Spring of 2009, but you can pick them up now on eBay.

Nike Air Force 1 Low Premium Grey Red

The closer we get to 2009, the more previews we get of what exactly is dropping next year. Most recently, we get a sneak peak of a Nike Air Force 1 Low Premium in a “Grey/Red” colorway. While the shoe consists of only two colors, it is covered in a myriad of textured leather including embossed alligator print around the back of the upper, textured and soft leather and a smooth leather all around and on top of the toe. The red comes in on a nubuck swoosh, laces and the bottom of the sole. Look for these to drop sometime in 2009, hopefully sooner than later.

Nike Dunk SB Low “Charcoal/Red”

Nike Dunk SB Low Charcoal/Red

With the number of Nike Dunk SB’s that have been released, it seems that the color combination’s would have run out by now, but Nike seems to always have a little something new up their sleeves. This 2009 Dunk from Nike Skateboarding has surfaced, the Nike SB Dunk Low “Charcoal/Red”.

This drop might have Nike SB back on track, it’s a simple colorway featuring charcoal, and a red swoosh, but what really catches my eye is the other material on the upper, a dark safari-like print really offsets the charcoal and red in a nice way.

Just when you thought the Nike Dunk SB was headed for retirement, Nike Skateboarding drops some heat.

Nike Air Flight 89 “Black/White/Red” Speckle

Nike Air Flight 89 Black/White/Red Speckle

The newest Nike Air Flight 89 has just been previewed for us and the shoe is starting to resemble one of the more famous shoes in the history of Nike / Jordan, the Nike Air Jordan IV. The two shoes share the same outsole and midsole while the upper is a bit different for obvious reasons. This new Nike Air Flight 89 comes in what could be called as a Chicago Bulls colorway of Black, White, and Red and features a speckled midsole to give the shoe more of a Jordan feel to it. Additionally the certain parts on the shoe’s upper features a small embossed design that looks like a basketball net. No word on availability as of right now but stay tuned.

Nike Air Jordan True Flight “Black/Red”

Nike Air Jordan True Flight Black/Red

Have you ever wondered what it would be like to have retro Jordans updated to perform to today’s standards? What if your favorite Jordan shoe that came out in 1992 could perform on the court as though it was designed with the pallet of today’s technology? Michael Jordan was the greatest that ever lived, but performance wise, many of his shoes have been out shined by the advancing technology that comes year after year.

Jordan Brand will be doing just that coming in January of next year with the introduction of the Nike Air Jordan True Flight. This shoe clearly looks much like the Nike Air Jordan 7 but is updated wish a flatter sole with herringbone traction for a better grip and Zoom Air for higher performance cushioning.

Some blurry catalog scans have leaked, but these shoes deserve to be seen properly for a first impression. The Nike Air Jordan True Flight will take off January 17th for $140.

The concept of a retro Jordan with the performance of today’s has been a hope of mine for quite a few years. While the thought and concept of the Air Force 25 was solid, the marketing and execution wasn’t what I hoped to see. I applaud Jordan Brand for taking on this task while maintaining the integrity of the design of the shoe and keeping the upgrades in performance most noticeable to those putting the shoes to the test on the court.

Nike Air Ultra Force Low “White/Black/Red”

Nike Air Ultra Force Low White/Black/Red

This fall and winter season Nike is bringing back another early 90’s classic from the vault. The Beasts from Beaverton have the Nike Air Flight Lite Hi representing the Nike Flight line, but the Nike Air Ultra Force will represent the other half of Nike Basketball. Designed for a more powerful and forceful player, the Nike Air Ultra Force was designed more for a power forward or center than someone getting open around the 3-point line.

Like with the Nike Air Flight Lite, the low top will be offered first, followed by the high top. Look for the Nike Air Ultra Force Low in stores now with the Ultra Force High coming in November and December

Nike Air Force 2 Hi “Black/Red/Green”

Tuesday, August 19th, 2008 | Posted in Air Force 2, Sneaker News, Sneakers

Nike Air Force 2 Hi Black/Red/Green

The Nike Air Force 2 has always played somewhat of a second fiddle to its more famous cousin, the infamous Nike Air Force 1. However, the basic design behind the Nike Air Force 2 is definitely very, very solid, and with more colorways such as this one, the name should rise into even more prominence. With a primarily black body, these shoes are accented with subtle touches of red and green trim, with laces to match. A nice, stealthy pattern coating the rear portion of these kicks gives them some definite class, as does the understated nature of these Nike Air Force 2’s in general. Perforated side panels ensure that these sneakers will breathe, as well as giving the shoes a nice look. No word yet on a specific release date, other than that these will be dropping sometime in Spring 2009.
