Nike Air Jordan III (3) Retro “White/Black” Unreleased 2006 Sample

Nike Air Jordan III (3) Retro White/Black Unreleased 2006 Sample

This Nike Air Jordan III Retro looks like it belongs alongside this year’s Jordan Motorsports pack (the first to be released to retail, in the six year series), but is actually from 2006. It has hand written numbering on the outer heel (count/count) and a single digit on the inner heel that might represent different componentry. Doesn’t really matter, though, since you are not going to wear them anyway. This size 9 sample is available for your collection on eBay.

Nike Dunk SB Low “Chirping Bird” Sample

Nike Dunk SB Low Chirping Bird Sample

There have been plenty of animal-inspired Nike SB releases. The latest in that category is a Nike Dunk SB Low Sample with a feature we have never seen before. No, we are not talking about the furry material on the sockliner that was a major part of the Three Bears Pack, but rather, something you can’t see. It’s the tongue. Not like all newer samples, it has a mix of a thin and fat tongue and if you press into it, you will hear a bird chirping. Take a look at more photos of these plus a video detailing the sound, all if you check out that link, then stick with NewKicksOnTheBlog for more info on these.

Nike Dunk SB Low “Iron Man Sample”

Monday, July 27th, 2009 | Posted in Nike Dunk, Nike SB, Sneaker News, Sneakers

Nike Dunk SB Low Iron Man Sample

Rumor is that this Nike Dunk SB model was inspired by last summer’s superhero blockbuster “Iron Man” and was possibly intended for a summer release to coincide with the opening of the movie. Obviously, for whatever reasons, that never happened, but now we get a look at what could have been. Images of this sample version have recently emerged, and as you can see, while the kicks do sport Iron Man’s trademark red and gold, a healthy dose of black leather was also used on the upper to tone down the look some. As far as we know, there are no plans to ever release these, but with an Iron Man sequel currently in the works, Nike SB will certainly get a second chance to make them relevant, so we will let you know if they decide to drop the Iron Man Dunks after all.

Nike Air Jordan VI (6) “Black/Deep Infrared” Sample

Nike Air Jordan VI (6) Black/Deep Infrared Sample

Earlier this week, we saw one of the dopest Nike Air Jordan VII (7) samples ever crawl out of the woodwork. Here is an edition of the previous year’s edition that never saw the light of retail. When they released back in 2000, the Nike Air Jordan VI (6) Retro featured a mostly black design, with infrared touches framing the Air bubble, on the heel strap, tongue and lacelock. This sample edition adds the signature red hue to the forefoot midsole as well as the heel’s “Nike Air” logo. Check out the last picture by checking that link for a good comparison (the bottom is the “original” retro from 2000). These are already nearing a thousand on eBay, so act fast.

Nike Air Max ST “White/Black-Red” Sample

Friday, May 22nd, 2009 | Posted in Air Max ST, Sneaker News, Sneakers

Nike Air Max ST White/Black-Red Sample

Originally released in 1992, the Nike Air Max ST was at one time the most technologically advanced running shoe on the market. Even with its innovative construction, sleek good looks and performance capabilities, the shoe never really found its way into the hearts of sneakerheads, at least not on a mass scale or in a lasting way. Those who were around for the original Nike Air Max ST probably remember it fondly, but its legacy has been, for the most part, forgotten.

Nike will be bringing back the ST in some new and original colorways this fall and now we get a look at the latest colorway sample to emerge. This version of the Nike Air Max ST “White/Black-Red” is similar to the original colorway, but replaces the Hot Red with more of a Varsity Red and breaks up the White plane with a section of Black wrapping all the way around the lower half of the upper. In Holiday 2009 (October) this colorway will be joining the White/Black/Hot Red and Dark Grey/Black/White versions that are due this fall, but you can play it safe and try to pick up this size 9 sample pair now on eBay.

Nike Air Structure Triax 91 “Black/Yellow-Grey-White” Sample

Nike Air Structure Triax 91 Black/Yellow-Grey-White Sample

These are not part of the LIVESTRONG collection but they do feature colors that match up to the collection. The Nike Air Structure Triax 91 sports a black synthetic/mesh upper with the LIVESTRONG like yellow accents, making it very believable that these were at one time supposed to be part of the collection but these will release during Holiday 2009 (November). In addition to the areas of yellow, there are also some white and grey highlights thrown in to help complete the color scheme. If you like these, you can start bidding on this pair in a size US 9 now on eBay.

Nike Air Jordan Flight 45 “Black/Varsity Red-Stealth” Sample

Nike Air Jordan Flight 45 Black/Varsity Red-Stealth Sample

Fresh off two new colourways, here is another Nike Air Jordan Flight 45. This pair was revealed early this month and we saw two sets of pictures during the first week. With a black design featuring red and cement grey accents, including the iconic elephant print, this pair is a perfect fit for the classic Chicago palette. Each of the other pairs we have seen had irregular perforations, and though the heel tab’s braille was clear on the red and white pair, we hadn’t put the two together until seeing this sample pair with deeper perfs. Anyone who knows American Sign Language should let us know what the side panels and toe say, and if the message is clear, you can cop a pair of these now on eBay.

Nike WMNS Dunk Hi “Married to the Mob” Sample

Friday, February 6th, 2009 | Posted in Nike Dunk, Sneaker News, Sneakers

Nike WMNS Dunk Hi Married to the Mob Sample

The final version of the collaboration with between the well known, feminine urban fashion brand Married to the Mob (MOB) and Nike Sportswear was a mostly white, tweed WMNS Nike Dunk Hi that was reminiscent of the classic Chanel, tweed suit.

From the looks of the sample in the picture above, it looks like MOB sought inspiration from other high fashion labels before finalizing the design of their shoe. This sample is designed with an all cloth upper covered by a haymarket check pattern with a gum sole and white mid-sole. The only feature of this shoe that made it to final production are the MOB gold lace-locks. For those of you familiar with Burberry, it is clear why these samples never made it to production and word is only 2 to 5 pairs were ever manufactured.
