Nike is no stranger to plaid and have used the simple pattern with a few releases this year and is scheduled to release this Nike Dunk Mid Premium SB “Plaid” next Spring. Plaid appears around the ankle and not at the mid panel which is where it was intially. In addition, obsidian, black and beige are a few other colors appearing on this premium model. Release is set for Spring of ‘09, but a sample pair has appeared on eBay.

Releasing in Spring of 2009 will be the Nike Dunk Mid Pro SB “Capuccino/Silver” appearing above. Pairing up with this colorway a mixture of different materials including suede along the sides of the sneaker and leather on the toe and swoosh. However, with a lot of Nike SB releases there is another story to the sneaker and the design on the tongue could lead to what this story may be. Releasing in the near future is the Nike Blazer SB “Lance Mountain” Pack. The pack consists of a Nike Blazer SB, cap, t-shirt and M-65 jacket.

The Nike Blazer Hi SB comes in a really nice premium leather on the upper, inspired by one of Lance’s vintage leather jackets. The lining is red and quilted, other accents such as the tags, Swoosh and logos all come tonal on the upper. Matching the sneakers, Nike made a fitted cap, t-shirt and a M-65 jacket, all very solid pieces, also coming in black and red.

Nike SB recently released several exclusive Dunks including the Boba Fett and Gold Rail. We previously blogged about the Gold Rail Dunk which comes in varsity blue with brown sole, honoring the famous skate spot at Flinders Street Station. Now we get a look at the upcoming Nike Dunk SB Hi “Boba Fett” which comes in all black with gray and yellow accents and a maroon red Swoosh logo. In the sneaker community, we have seen the decline in the popularity of Nike SB Dunks in the past year but with these upcoming releases on the horizon, Nike SB might have just revived the line.

With the huge success of the Nike Air McFly Hyperdunk, a similar treatment has been applied to the Nike SB Zoom Tre A.D. This new colorway definitely takes inspiration from the original Nike Air Mag, the high tech boot Michael J. Fox wore in the movie Back to the Future II. The uppers takes on colors with a slight metallic sheen to them for the added futuristic look. On the bottom, the front half features the blue speckles from the the Air Mag as well. The best part is of course some sort of a glowing feature, on this Zoom Tre A.D. the swoosh on the heel glows in the dark. The rumored release date is for Holiday 2008.

It’s been a while since we last heard anything about the Nike Dunk SB Low “Gore-Tex”. Back in April we only posted one picture, but now we have detailed pictures for your viewing pleasure. However, we still don’t have any info about when these will release. Once we get more info it will be posted, so stay tuned.

Here is a Nike SB’s update for September. While many releases may have been seen in varying bits and pieces, at least here’s the official word from the horse’s mouth. Leading the way this month is the highly detailed Nike Dunk Hi “Duct Tape” which features a cracked leather upper, duct tape printed canvas paneling and a thick-ass nylon tongue. Other memorable releases are the Nike Dunk Low “Pigeon” inspired P-rod II and a Nike Zoom Tre A.D in “blue/orange”. Check your local Nike SB dealer for availability as these should be hitting retailers soon if not already.

Pictured above is Nike’s latest collaboration SB sneaker, which features the art of Craig Stecyk and Lance Mountain. For those of you into skate culture, Craig Stecyk is considered, by many, the Godfather of skateboarding because of his work as a skateboard artist and photojournalist. Lance Mountain, on the other hand, was a popular skateboarder during the 80’s as part of the Bones Brigade skate team. The end result of the skateboarding duo’s collaboration is this flashy orange suede Blazer. The colors and materials were said to be created by Stecyk, while the heel features Mountain’s signature skull logo. The sneaker also contains a black inner lining, and is finished off with a white midsole. This Nike Blazer Hi SB sneaker is scheduled to release sometime in October.
